Prosciutto, Onion, & Mozzarella Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 store-bought pizza crust
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or sliced
- ¼ cup onions julienned
- 4 strips of prosciutto roughly chopped
Instructions
- Roll out your dough and pre-bake according to directions on the package (unless you want a softer dough - then don’t pre-bake!)
- Start cooking your onions on the stovetop over medium heat - you can caramelize them for a softer, sweeter taste, or simply sauté them for a few minutes in olive oil for crunchier onions.
- Sprinkle a thick layer of mozzarella over the pizza dough, leaving some space on the edges for the crust.
- Sprinkle your onions and tears of prosciutto over the cheese, topping with a little more cheese if desired.
- Bake according to dough instructions, then slice and serve!
