This Christmas cranberry spritz is the perfect simple yet stunning cocktail recipe you need for your holiday parties! Cranberry and rosemary compliment the sweet Prosecco to make a bright and festive drink reminiscent of the classic Christmas decoration.
We’re getting down to the end of our “Five Days of Christmas Recipes,” folks! Today we’re making another yummy cocktail: this time a simple, delicious cocktail for you all to make at your Christmas Eve parties tomorrow - it’s time to try the Christmas Cranberry Garland Spritz! These sweet, no-fuss spritzers are a gorgeous way to ring in the holiday without the stress and with all the Christmas spirit! You can use any type of sparkling wine for these these cocktails, but I prefer the clear shimmer of a classic Prosecco to pair with the deep red of the cranberries and the earthiness of the rosemary sprigs (in both look and taste). The cranberries also look really cute just dropped into the glass, as they float to the top and create a little layer of red on top of your Prosecco!

- cocktail picks
- coupe glasses
- Prosecco
- cranberries
- fresh rosemary
- water
- granulated sugar
Customize This Recipe!
There are a few different ways you can customize this recipe:
- Use your favorite champagne. You don't have to use Prosecco–just use your favorite white sparkling wine so the cranberries really shine through!
- Get creative with your garnish. While the cranberry "garland" on a cocktail pick is adorable, you can get fun with it: muddle cranberries in the bottom of your glass, or even give it a sugar rim for some extra sweetness.
Kitchen Tips:
- Utilize mise en place! Make sure you have all of your ingredients prepped and ready before you begin making this recipe–it will help save you time and keep you organized.
- Make your syrups ahead of time. I find it so much easier to make my syrups in large batches ahead of time and keep them in condiment bottles in the fridge–that way I can just grab them whenever I need them!
FAQ
Nope! It adds a bit of extra color and flavor to the cocktail, but just using the rosemary simple syrup will be enough, too.
Not at all–you could use champagne flutes as well, or honestly, a regular old drinking glass or a mug will get the job done!
