  • All purpose flour
  • Cocoa powder
  • Semisweet chocolate
  • Unsalted butter
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Granulated sugar
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cherries
  • Salt

Recipe Instructions:

STEP 1: Melt your chocolate and butter over a double boiler until fully combined and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

STEP 2: Once your chocolate mixture is cooled slightly, whisk in your sugar until combined. Then add your eggs and vanilla, mixing after each one to fully combine.

Ingredients

For the brownies:

  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate chopped
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter room temp
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder sifted
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup chocolate chopped
  • ½ cup sliced cherries
  • ¼ cup sliced cherries for topping

For the icing:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp milk

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350ºF and prepare an 8x8in square pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt your chocolate and butter over a double boiler until fully combined and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
