Get your chocolate fix with a huge slice of this decadent chocolate cake! Soft, moist chocolate cake layers are nestled between silky vanilla buttercream for the perfect combination of rich and light–what more could you ask for in a cake?
This cake is damn good. And I don’t mean, like, “Oh this is pretty good - I’ll have a slice, but not too big!” This cake is “I don’t even remember what a diet is, give me two slices and don’t skimp on the frosting” good. It's rich, it's moist, it's decadent, and it's filled with enough chocolate to give you a sugar high for a week. And coming from someone who proudly claims vanilla to be the superior flavor, that’s saying a lot. I went with a simple vanilla buttercream frosting just so things weren’t too out of place for me, but don’t let that stop you from going chocolate on chocolate here!
