Ingredients & Equipment
You’ll need the following ingredients and equipment to make this mini gingerbread loaf with maple cream cheese frosting:

- Baking powder
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Allspice
- Baking soda
- Ground ginger
- Egg
- Almond milk

Customize This Recipe!
There are a few different ways you can customize this recipe:
- Make muffins instead of a loaf. If you only have a cupcake or muffin tin, this recipe will work great as smaller bites instead of a whole bread loaf!
- Use icing in place of frosting. If you want a lighter topping, you can make a classic icing with milk and powdered sugar instead of a thicker cream cheese frosting.

Kitchen Tips:
- Utilize mise en place! Make sure you have all of your ingredients prepped and ready before you begin making this recipe - it will help save you time and keep you organized.
- Avoid wonky cracks. To get a straight line down the top of your loaf instead of a potentially wacky one, pipe a small line of butter down the center of the batter just before baking.
