Apple Crisp for Two
This apple crisp for two recipe is a quick and easy treat to get you in the fall spirit! Made with crisp apples, a rich, sugary oat topping, and warm, cozy spices, this dessert is truly autumn in a dish (or two).

Apple crisp is a quintessential autumn dessert, and this recipe is the perfect two-serving size to enjoy with a loved one! Just chop some apples, whip up a quick oat-based topping, bake, and enjoy–it’s that easy. There’s no better treat to make after a trip to the apple orchard, and since it’s a small batch recipe, you won’t use up all your apples & can save the extras for more fall desserts! This apple crisp is delicious as-is, but you can really zhuzh it up with some ice cream, syrup, whipped cream, even some flaky salt… you name it, it’ll probably taste great.

Customize This Recipe!
There are a few different ways you can customize this recipe:
- Add more spices. Cinnamon and nutmeg are my go-to’s for a perfectly balanced, cozy autumn flavor, but feel free to get creative with other fall spices like cloves, cardamom, etc.!
- Finish with syrup. A bit of pure maple syrup on top of this apple crisp would be the perfect addition for a little extra sweetness!
- Serve with ice cream. Scoop some vanilla bean right on top and enjoy all the melty goodness.

Kitchen Tips:
- Utilize mise en place! Make sure you have all of your ingredients prepped and ready before you begin making this recipe – it will help save you time and keep you organized.
- To peel or not to peel. It’s really up to you! If you’re not a fan of leaving the skin on your apples, peel them–but it’s not necessary for the recipe (I personally like leaving the skin on).
