Warm weather means cold drinks on patios, and this citrus tequila lemonade is a light, refreshing cocktail that’s perfect for any spring or summer occasion! Just mix your favorite tequila with lemonade, orange soda, orange bitters, and a bit of lime (and don’t forget the salted rim). - Rocks glasses
- Tequila
- Orange soda
- Lemonade
- Orange bitters
- Limes
- Ice
- Salt

- Use a flavored lemonade. For a fun, flavorful twist, use a pink lemonade instead of traditional!
- Salt or sugar. I prefer this cocktail with salt, but you can use sugar for a sweeter flavor!

- Chill your glasses. After you salt your rims, put the glasses in the freezer until you’re ready to serve so they stay extra cold!

Citrus Tequila Lemonade Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 oz tequila
- 3 oz lemonade
- orange bitters a few dashes
- 1 lime squeezed
- 1 can orange soda to top
Instructions
- Use the open face of a sliced lime to wet your glass rims, then roll in salt. Place glasses in the freezer until ready to serve.
- Mix together tequila, lemonade, bitters, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker and stir or shake with ice.
- Add ice to your glasses, then pour half of the tequila mixture into each glass.
- Top each glass off with orange soda and garnish your cocktails with a slice of lime if desired.
