Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bunch breakfast radishes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 oz goat cheese
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes or freshly chopped
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pinch red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400ºF and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove and save the radish greens, then slice the radishes in half.
  • Add radishes and greens to a bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper, coating well.
  • Spread the radishes and greens evenly on the baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes, or until crisp and golden.
  • While the radishes bake, whip the goat cheese with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and remaining seasonings.
  • Spread the whipped goat cheese onto your serving bowl or plate, top with roasted radishes and greens, and finish with an extra drizzle of olive oil.

Notes

  • Utilize mise en place! Make sure you have all of your ingredients prepped and ready before you begin making this recipe - it will help save you time and keep you organized.
  • Don't skip the greens. If you roast them with the radishes, they get perfectly crispy and super flavorful - they make a perfect garnish, or you can even mix them into the goat cheese itself.
  • Add a drizzle of hot honey, balsamic glaze, or a flavored olive oil to really round out your desired flavor palate.
  • Use your favorite dipper! I love a crusty baguette or sourdough paired with this goat cheese, but you can use chips, crackers, pita bread, really anything you want.
