Peanut Butter and Fudge Valentine's Day Skillet Cookie

- 6 tablespoon butter room temp
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 ¼ cup all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cheesecake M&M's
- ½ cup fudge M&M's
- 2 oz semi sweet chocolate chopped
Preheat your oven to 350ºF and wipe a seasoned 10in cast iron skillet with butter.
Cream butter and sugar together in a large bowl until combined and fluffy, then add in your egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter and stir fully until smooth.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, folding together until combined.
Fold in your chocolate chunks and M&M's until evenly spread throughout dough.
Press the cookie dough down evenly in your skillet, smoothing out the top.
Add a few more chocolate chunks on top to melt down.
Bake cookie for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are nice and golden brown, and serve warm.
