Frosted Cranberry Margaritas

For the rosemary syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 sprig of rosemary
For the margaritas:
- ¾ cup fresh cranberries
- ¼ cup tequila
- 1 lime
- 1 orange
- salt/sugar for rim
- rosemary sprigs for garnish
- fresh cranberries for garnish
For the rosemary syrup:
In a pot over the stove, mix one cup sugar and one cup water on medium heat. Add in a sprig of rosemary and stir.
Stir until sugar dissolves completely, then let the simple syrup cool on the stove while you make your drinks.
For the margaritas:
Add ¾ cup of cranberries to your shaker (or just a cup) and add your tequila. Muddle the cranberries into the tequila to release the flavor and color.
Cut a lime in half and use it to rim your glasses. Dip them in salt, sugar, or a mixture of both.
Squeeze the lime and half of the orange into the shaker and mix together.
Pour the simple syrup into the shaker/cup along with a handful of ice and shake.
Fill your glasses to the top with ice cubes, then pour your cocktails over the ice.
