- 8 oz burrata room temp
- 3-4 tbsp fig jam
- 3-4 strips prosciutto
- 2-3 tbsp pomegranate seeds
- 2-3 tbsp chopped pistachios
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- zest of small orange
In a small bowl, mix up the burrata until it's broken up and easily spreadable.
Spread the burrata onto your serving plate, then season it with salt and pepper to taste.
Place dollops of fig jam on top of the burrata and spread it around slightly, then rip the prosciutto into smaller pieces and place them on top of the burrata and jam.
Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds and pistachios even on top of the burrata plate, then garnish with a bit of olive oil and orange zest.
- Utilize mise en place! Make sure you have all of your ingredients prepped and ready before you begin making this recipe - it will help save you time and keep you organized.
- Be sure to mix your burrata beforehand instead of just breaking it open right on your serving plate - that way, it's a lot easier to spread and scoop up!
- Add an extra drizzle. Classic olive oil is always a good choice, but you can dress up this burrata plate with some balsamic glaze or even a bit of hot honey!
- Get nutty. Pistachio and pomegranate is my personal favorite combo, but another nut like pecans or hazelnuts (or a combination) would also be delicious options.
