- 4 cornor flour tortillas
- 2 cups cooked steak chopped
- 1 mashed avocado seasoned
- ½ cup shredded cheese
- 1 lime
- spicy mayo/sauce you enjoy
- blue cheese crumbles
- chopped cilantro for garnish
Heat your tortillas one at a time on a clean pan over medium-high heat until one side bubbles slightly. they shouldn't brown completely, but should have some dark spots on them.
Spread your mashed avocado evenly on each tortilla, then add your shredded cheese evenly.
Add your chopped steak on top, then add some more cheese if desired.
Drizzle your sauce on top of each taco (I like to use a squirt bottle or a piping tip to get a small, even drizzle).
Top each taco with blue cheese crumbles, a squirt of lime juice, a bit more sauce, and some cilantro to finish.

Seasoning goes a long way. The ingredients used in this steak taco recipe are simple, so seasoning is a big factor here. Make sure you add salt, pepper, cilantro, and other herbs to your avocado to give it extra flavor, and that your steak is seasoned or marinated well. A flavorful base means fewer add-ins are needed!
