Brown Butter Pasta Sauce
This brown butter sauce is the perfect companion to any pasta dish! It has tons of warm, nutty flavor from the brown butter, a super creamy consistency, and an herby, cheesy finish that pairs well with virtually any dinner meal.

- ¼ cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or chopped fresh
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat until melted.
Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, until butter is brown in color and has a rich, nutty smell.
Add in cream and oregano and stir until combined, then simmer for about a minute. Stir occasionally.
Add in parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and stir again, simmering for another minute or two (until sauce thickens slightly).
Fold into or pour on top of dish and serve!
