- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 slices ciabatta bread thickly sliced
- 1 avocado mashed
- ¼ cup shredded cheese
- 1 ball burrata room temp
- sliced grilled chicken breast (I like pre-cooked from Perdue)
- salt and pepper to taste
- Italian seasoning
- red pepper flakes
Drizzle your bread slices with olive oil and bake at 350ºF for about 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Spread your mashed avocado on each slice, then season with salt and pepper.
Add shredded cheese and sliced chicken on top of the avocado.
Cut your burrata in half and spread on top of each toast.
Top with more salt and pepper, and add Italian herbs and red pepper flakes.
Drizzle with more oil, or balsamic vinaigrette and serve!
- Utilize mise en place! Make sure you have all of your ingredients prepped and ready before you begin making this recipe – it will help save you time and keep you organized.
- Use a thick, sturdy bread. You can use any bread you’d like, of course, but a thicker slice will be super beneficial, especially with so many ingredients to hold up. Trust me, with avocado, shredded cheese, chicken, AND burrata, you’re gonna want a sturdy bread.
