- 1 package salame calabrese
- 1 package sliced pepperoni
- 1 package sliced capocollo
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese
- 8 oz pepper jack cheese
- 1 wedge horseradish and bacon cheddar
- 1 ball herbed chèvre
- 1 box raincoast crisps
- 1 box baked sea salt crackers
- 1 package cracked pepper pretzel crisps
- 1 crusty baguette
- red grapes
- olives
- pickles
- mixed nuts/dried fruits
Start with your cheeses, as these are typically the largest items you'll have to place on your board.
If you have any small dishes, arrange them at the same time as your cheeses since they're similar in size.
After the cheese, place your crackers on your board. space them evenly and keep them separate from each other, not letting two types of crackers touch.
Meats come next - fold each slice of meat into small bunches and arrange them around your cheeses and crackers evenly. be sure to use a good amount of each ingredient so your board looks very full.
Take note of your biggest accompaniments and place those on your board next (your grapes, bread, etc). remember to keep each category of food as spread out as possible!
Put your olives and pickles in your dishes - wet foods are best kept separated in little bowls rather than touching the bare wood or other foods on the board.
Fill in any small empty spaces with the rest of your accompaniments, like your nuts and dried fruits. it's okay to drop handfuls on the board and let the mixtures spill over your other ingredients slightly!
