Customize This Recipe!
There are a few different ways you can customize this recipe:
- Get unique crackers. Crackers are often the middle child of charcuterie boards since people focus so much on the cheeses and meats – but if you find unique, flavorful crackers or crisps, they can really round out the board’s palate and shine on their own!
- Have fun with accompaniments. The funnest part of a cheese board, in my opinion, is finding tasty little treats to fill in all the empty spaces after the heavy hitters are on the board. Have a favorite chocolate or nut? Add those. Found a fun new salty snack at the store, or want to try that new jam you just got? Go crazy!

Kitchen Tips:
- Utilize mise en place! Make sure you have all of your ingredients prepped and ready before you begin making this recipe – it will help save you time and keep you organized.
- Use your own measurements according to the size of your board. If you’re making a smaller version, you can just use one or two cheeses and meats as opposed to three of each – or better yet, get variety packs, use what you need, and save the rest for another day!
FAQ
The key to making a gorgeous, eye-catching grazing board is to really fill it up! It doesn’t have to be overflowing (though mine usually are), but there shouldn’t be any bare space on your board or it’ll look empty. I like to start with my biggest ingredients like bowls, big blocks of cheese, or large crackers, then filling in with the meats and filling in the bare spaces with my accompaniments. It’s kind of like a waterfall process going biggest to smallest, making sure that there’s variety in color and type of food all over the board!
Of course! Your local grocery store isn’t always going to have the same ingredients as mine, but that’s what makes it fun to make your board your own – my flavor options and ingredient choices here are suggestions, and you can try to get as close as possible to those while still working with what you have.
This charcuterie board is best enjoyed right after arranging it, but you can store any leftover ingredients according to their package directions (crackers back in the pantry, cheeses back in the fridge, etc.).

Easy Autumn Charcuterie Board
Ingredients
- 1 sleeve sesame wheat crackers
- 1 sleeve rosemary crackers
- 1 sleeve seven grain crackers
- 1 parmesan wedge
- 8 oz cranberry cheddar cheese
- 6 oz everything goat cheese
- prosciutto
- pepper salami
- hot calabrese
- 1 apple sliced
- caramel pretzel clusters
- strawberry jam
- red grapes
- blue cheese stuffed olives
- toasted pecans
Instructions
- Start with your cheeses, as these are typically the largest items you’ll have to place on your board.
- If you have any small dishes or other large items (like grapes), arrange them at the same time as your cheeses since they're similar in size.
- After the cheeses, place your crackers on your board. Space them evenly and keep them separate from each other, not letting two types of crackers touch.
- Meats come next – fold each slice of meat into small bunches and arrange them around your cheeses and crackers evenly. Be sure to use a good amount of each ingredient so your board looks very full.
- Put your jam, olives, etc. in dishes as desired – wet foods are best kept separated in little bowls rather than touching the bare wood or other foods on the board.
- Fill in any small empty spaces with the rest of your accompaniments like nuts and pretzel clusters. It's okay to drop handfuls on the board and let the mixtures spill over your other ingredients slightly!
